I really love this lemongrass body oil, it smells so lovely and lemony, almost good enough to eat. I can't wait to put it on after I've come out of the shower. I've been using it on my legs, they look great & feel silky smooth too. I definitely see an improvement in my skin it looks more toned. The fragrance is amazing and really does make you feel refreshed, I love it x

Wonderful to use during the summer or on hot, humid days - skin is refreshed in an instance. You'll smell like lemon drizzle cake for hours afterward. Possibly good enough to eat!

I have used the Lemon Body Oil (and then the new lemon lemongrass body oil) for a couple of years now. Absolutely love it, skin feels silky soft and the smell on your skin is lovely and fresh. Use it straight after shower whilst skin still a little damp.

  1. Avocado Face Mask!!!
This mask combines avocados, which are rich in Vitamin E, with carrots, which are high in beta-carotene and antioxidants, and cream, which is high in calcium and protein. These ingredients will rebuild skin collagen, improve tone and texture, and fade age spots.
    1 avocado, mashed
    1 carrot, cooked and mashed
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1 egg, beaten
    3 tablespoons honey
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Spread gently over your face and neck, and leave in place 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and follow with your favorite toner.

  2. My skin often looks dull, pale and tired lookig during the Winter months so to help it glow and keep it supple I make the following mask at home:

    Honey and Lemon Mask:

Squeeze 1/2 a lemon (organic is always better) into a bowl, add 2 tbsp of honey (0rganic, raw, natural ). Mix it with a spoon until it’s a liquid consistency. Apply it all over a clean face avoiding eye area. *Also make sure that your hair is pulled back away from your face as the mask is rather sticky! Leave on for 15-20 min and rinse off.

I often apply this when I am going in the bath, as it can be messy! But it does leave my face feeling supple and glowing so it is worth the mess! I apply this on a weekly basis.

As well as applying my home made face mask, I also buy a more deep nourishing face night cream and a day cream that is specially formulated for wind burn and cold (as I get dry skin if out in the cold and wind). I also continue to use a mild daily face scrub - but one with micro balls in (from Clinique) as it is less harsh than some scrubs.

  7. My feet really dry out in winter because they're so wrapped up so once a week I smother them in body oil, wrap them in clingfilm (little cotton socks work too) and relax with my feet up for a couple of hours to let it all soak in. I don't bother rinsing any excess off before bed, just run a baby wipe over them.

  8. I use Trilogy rosehip oil all year round but in winter it's a must, it's extremely moisturising and keeps my skin baby soft.

  9. My hands and feet get incredibly dry at this time of year, so I soak them, rub in masses of moisturiser, plastic bags on feet and sexy littles socks, and gloves for my hands then head for bed......

  13. During Winter it's important to stay hydrated inside and out so I make sure to drink enough water, moisturize (i like to use oils such as coconut oil or olive oil) and keep bath/shower temperatures tepid. Coconut oil has been a lifesaver for me during the winter, I also use it on my lips and hair to prevent dryness.

  15. Im a cook and I get inspired by ingredients in my kitchen for the winter.
My fav recipe is Orange/almond cake. In the process you have to simmer 2 oranges in water for an hour. I pulp the oranges for the cake and use the orange water as a tonic for my white blotchy winter skin. For my body I mix almond and light olive oil. For my hair, coconut oil left in overnight gives a wonderful sheen and when life gets to dreary I can eat the cake!
if anyone is interested Cake is from my book Kitchen Alchemy.
